The Reserve Bank of India has instituted 4 public annual lecture series. 1. Two of these are in honour of past Governors of the Reserve Bank namely [C.D. Deshmukh](http://www.rbi.org.in/Content/Annual_CDMemorial.aspx) and [L.K. Jha](http://www.rbi.org.in/Scripts/LkJhaLecturers.aspx) and  the third in honour of a noted monetary economist namely [P.R. Brahmananda](http://www.rbi.org.in/Content/Annual_PRBMemorial.aspx). 2. The Reserve Bank of India instituted the 'Suresh Tendulkar Memorial Lectures' in 2013 in his honour and in recognition of his contribution to the economics profession and his association with the Reserve Bank. 3.
