> "Unpacking the legal, monetary, and structural architecture of India's central bank, but one data layer at a time." 1. Hello. I'm Ankit Jain, and welcome to my notes on Reserve bank of India titled "I Love RBI" 2. Here I try to bring together various publications by RBI under the relevant topics, with reference links to them. Whether it is liquidity operations, derivative market shifts, or cross-border capital rules, I try to map different activities of RBI to have clarity at a glance. 3. The notes not deeply analytical but explanatory, trying to simplify circulars, notifications and **tracking them to understand how policies evolve** ### Mission 1. The core motive of these notes is **structural synthesis**. Central bank updates are critical, and a single policy shift might trigger an RBI Notification, a SEBI Master Circular, a Governor's speech, and an emergency press release spread across three different years. 2. But these publications are not organised by topics. 3. This vault solves that. It brings together every disparate piece of financial legislation and central bank publication under its specific, dedicated macroeconomic topic. The site does not use categories/folders but tries to use internal links to link different notes/topics. 4. I have tried to avoid basic definitions, and but provided explanations as I try to bring them together under the roof of a topic. 5. So these notes have been created mainly using RBI website/publications. 6. Few notes here: * [Reserve Money](Reserve%20Money.md) — Understanding the base money * [Money Market Operations (MMO)](Money%20Market%20Operations%20(MMO).md) - For the lovers of RBI, LAF, MSF, VRR/VRRR tracks, transient, durable liquidity, etc * [External Sector](External%20Sector.md) * [G-Secs-Primary Market](G-Secs-Primary%20Market.md) - Understanding the literature on govt. debt * [G-Secs-Secondary Market](G-Secs-Secondary%20Market.md) - This is dissection of various ways govt. securities are traded in the secondary market, to get a better understanding of the largest debt market. * [Currency Management](Currency%20Management.md) - I think this is the nightmare for a monetary authority of the world's most populous country in the world * [Monetary Policy Frameworks in India](Monetary%20Policy%20Frameworks%20in%20India.md) - this is for the lovers of economics who wish to collect RBI's publications on monetary policies * [Financial Literacy and Awareness](Financial%20Literacy%20and%20Awareness.md) - How does RBI try to increase financial literacy? * [Exports & The RBI](Exports%20&%20The%20RBI.md) - Here we discuss how RBI directly helps export sector * and many more > [!IMPORTANT] The Reference Anchor > Every core topic note in this vault features a standardized **"References"** section at its base. This is the most critical element of the database. It aggregates and hyper-links different historical and real-time RBI publications related to that specific topic: > * **Speeches & Keynotes** (To capture the underlying *intent* and future trajectory of the regulators). > * **Master Directions & Notifications** (The static statutory law and operating guidelines). > * **Press Releases & Consultation Papers** (The emergency shock-absorbers and upcoming policy blueprints). 7.
